The quote was very fair for the quality of work provided, with no hidden surprises along the way. The installation itself was done with great attention to detail and craftsmanship. I had my entire main floor (1300 square feet) and stairway renovated by Vellfinish Flooring.  I had the Vellfinish team put in all new oak plank hardwood flooring and for my stairs I had the stairs sanded down and restained with a colour that matched my flooring.  I also had my stairway pickets ripped out and replaced with rod-iron pickets. I was at first a little skeptical to use Vellfinish because of the low price that was quoted to me -- the stairway in particular was much lower than any of their competition had quoted me.  However, now that the job has been completed, I cannot speak highly enough about this team.  The quality of their work and product is top notch and they were extremely professional throughout the entire project, always keeping me informed on what would be completed next. They work extremely hard and long hours, completing the job right on the scheduled dates they had provided me prior to starting the work.  There is truly nothing negative I can say about this team -- I actually was honest to the owner of Vellfinish Floors when they had finished the job and told him that based on the quality of work performed, he should increase his prices because he produces a top quality product at a margin of what his competition is charging.
